Born and raised in the Annapolis Valley, Karen is proud to help buyers and sellers navigate real estate across the communities she knows and loves.

Before real estate, Karen spent more than 25 years in marketing and communications after graduating from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Public Relations. Today, she combines strong communication skills, local knowledge and a calm, client-focused approach to help make every move feel less overwhelming and more exciting.

As both a military child and military spouse, Karen understands relocation firsthand and has a special passion for helping military and RCMP families settle into new communities with confidence.

In 2020, Karen and her husband Pete founded Team Dooks, known for honest advice, responsive service and a no-pressure approach to real estate.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys long-distance running, yoga and supporting local community initiatives throughout the Annapolis Valley.
