Len began painting 4 years ago, after retiring. He was always drawing and sketching, and eventually took up painting. 

Len’s love of Nova Scotia and fishing boats is represented in this exhibit. Len captures images with his camera during his summers in Nova Scotia and he paints these images during the cold winter days at his home in Stratford, ON while dreaming of Nova Scotia.

Len has shown his art at a variety of galleries and coffee shops in Nova Scotia: Sissiboo Coffee Roaster in Annapolis Royal and Bear River; Seashore Art Gallery in Digby. His art will be shown this summer at Sissiboo Visitor Centre in Weymouth, and Big Blue Gallery in St. Bernard. If you don’t see what you like here, Len is open to commissions of buildings, but prefers boats.

Art @ EXIT is a rotating art program hosted at the EXIT Realty Town & Country office in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, designed to celebrate and support local artists while creating a welcoming, inspiring space for the community.

Each month, we feature a local artist and transform our Annapolis Royal office into a curated gallery showcasing their work. From paintings and photography to mixed media and emerging styles, this program brings together art, community, and conversation in the heart of historic Annapolis Royal.

Selected artists are invited to display their work for a full month at our office, offering valuable exposure to clients, visitors, and the wider Annapolis Valley community. Artwork remains displayed in a high-traffic, community-focused environment.
