Jack Hawkins is a photographer and custom picture framer based in Annapolis Royal. He began taking photographs over a decade ago, drawn to moments that are easily overlooked and to the quiet beauty found in everyday scenes.

For several years, he has been printing his work, and in 2024 he opened a custom picture framing studio serving the Annapolis Valley and beyond. Each image is printed on cotton rag fine art paper, carefully matted with conservation materials, and framed behind UV protective glass so it can be lived with and preserved over time.

Whether encountered on opening night or discovered slowly over the weeks that follow, these works are meant to reward time and attention. If one of them comes to live with you beyond this space, please know that the choice is felt deeply and never taken for granted. It carries with it a quiet gratitude for the care given to it. 

Art @ EXIT is a rotating art program hosted at the EXIT Realty Town & Country office in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, designed to celebrate and support local artists while creating a welcoming, inspiring space for the community.

Each month, we feature a local artist and transform our Annapolis Royal office into a curated gallery showcasing their work. From paintings and photography to mixed media and emerging styles, this program brings together art, community, and conversation in the heart of historic Annapolis Royal.
