Johan Olivier

Johan Olivier was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, and immigrated to Canada in 2021. Today, he lives just outside Yarmouth with his wife and their four children, where family and community are at the heart of his life.

Johan brings more than 15 years of entrepreneurial and business experience to his career in real estate. He owned and operated a hardware store and construction company, developing extensive practical knowledge of construction, renovations, property improvements, and business management. He also served as a director of a credit union in South Africa for three years and spent more than 10 years serving as a Chairman and board member of a Chamber of Commerce.

A strategic thinker and experienced businessman, Johan is also a qualified Internal Auditor. He is fluent in Afrikaans, his first language, and English, and is able to communicate in Dutch.

Real estate has been a natural part of Johan's life for many years. He has bought, sold, renovated, and subdivided properties throughout his life, giving him firsthand experience with many of the opportunities and challenges that come with property ownership. His decision to pursue a career in real estate was a natural progression from that experience.

Johan is also deeply committed to his community. He founded the Yarmouth Community Thrift Store Society and currently serves as President of the Board, helping raise funds for a local children's camp and other charitable organizations. He also volunteers as an RPAS volunteer with CASARA Yarmouth, an experience that reflects his willingness to learn, serve, and contribute to the community around him.

With his combination of business experience, construction knowledge, property expertise, and community involvement, Johan brings a practical and thoughtful approach to real estate. His goal is to provide clients with informed guidance, strategic thinking, and dependable service throughout their real estate journey.
