Karen Dooks

Born and raised in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Karen has extensive knowledge of the area and deep connections throughout its communities. Truly proud to live and work here, she has enthusiasm for sharing the region’s charm and a desire to make her home, your home.


After earning her Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University, Karen spent the next 25 years working in Marketing and Communications. She taps into those skills and years of experience to form strong relationships and help her clients achieve their real estate goals. She is dedicated to understanding your unique needs and easing your journey throughout the process.


As a child of a military member and later as a military spouse, Karen relocated over a dozen times and it’s those experiences living around the world that helped to shape her love of art and architectural design. She can provide a vast array of knowledge about relocation and knows the importance of making the right decision when searching for that perfect home.
Karen is a firm believer in giving back and is an avid supporter of Breast Cancer Research, Diabetes Canada and the Terry Fox Foundation. She also loves any excuse to get into her workout gear- whether it's for yoga, a bike ride, or her true passion, long distance running.
